Nickname(s): Padfoot, Siri(not particularly fond of that one), Snuffles

Birth Date: Once upon a time I spent a long, long time trying to decide on his birthdate. There is little basis given from JKR, other than her saying he was 'around 22' when he was imprisoned. So, I’m going with August 16, which lays within the dog days, traditionally associated with Sirius, the ‘Dog Star’ and which is the feast day of Saint Roch, the patron saint of dogs. Hence, my final answer: August 16, 1959
Birthplace: London

Current Location: Depends on the timeline and other factors, but generally either Hogwarts or London.
Residence: Again, depending on timeline and other factors. Anything from Hogwarts to Grimmauld Place to an apartment in London ~~shared with Remus~~
Occupation: Matter of timeline and co, again, but either student, auror, underwear model...alright, I made that last bit up, but it's not for lack of qualifications! In short, it depends.

Alignment: That's that pen and paper stuff, damn if I know... Something good, at least. Not 'lawful'. I'm too lazy to look it up.
Affiliation: Very, very firmly the side of 'good', whatever he considers 'good', at least, mostly everything his family doesn't consider good. Order of the Phoenix member, against Voldemort, against the dark arts, kind of just against tradition, too.

Blood Line: Pureblood (Noble and Most Ancient)

Wand: There's no information on the material, but it's 15 inches long. (That's right, baby.) Going with JKR’s wandlore based on the Celtic trees, associated to birth month and meaning, I'm going with giving Sirius a wand made out of holly, which is very fitting: ‘a symbol of firmness and masculine energy, Hollywood was used by the ancients in the construction of spear shafts, which were thought to then have magickal powers.’ The actual for his birthday would be hazel, but holly just fits better.
Wand Core: Dragon heart string. Because it just fits.
Wand Hand: I don't have a clue, going with right.

Patronus Guardian: Isn't that the same as the form?
Patronus Form: Possibly a lion, but I'm not sure.
Boggart: death/torture of loved ones with him unable to help at times in his life possibly also the fear of turning into what his parents want him to or having to face his brother in battle
Animagus: A big, black, shaggy dog. Wizards might associate it with the 'Grim', an omen of impending death.

Build: Athletic, but still more on the slender than bulky side, lean muscles. Long legs, muscular arms, nice ass, all the goods. ;)

Skin: pale, as it's befit for someone so very noble (but as tan as it can get from being outside a lot)

Wardrobe: naturally the school uniform when he's in school, underneath the robes usually jeans and shirts, both every now and then a bit tighter than they'd really need to be

Prose: Sirius is good-looking. The sharp, attractive features the Black family is renown for are definitely apparent, giving him an aristocratic, slightly haughty, appearance. His skin is naturally pale, though more tan than with many of his relatives, as he actually spends a lot of time outside.
His fingers are long and slender, but he has broad shoulders and the muscle definition to go with it, though he can still be described as more lean than bulky.
Depending on the point in time his hair reaches from chin length to brushing his shoulders or even longer. It's black, though some strands tend to be bleached into brown by the sun.
While he smiles and grins a lot, his face just happens to be predestined for smugness, so those aren't necessarily the most pleasant expressions. He is very aware of being attractive and uses the effect it can have to his advantage, though while goofing around with his friends, he largely forgets about any of that.

First Impression: It entirely depends on under what circumstances and in what company one would first see him. Sirius tends to change between extremes. From the bullying jerk he can be to people he doesn't care for to the more friendly teasing of his friends, the eager plotting of pranks or the angry intensity in his darker hours, certain qualities stay obvious: He is very charismatic, the kind of person who makes everyone feel better when he's in a good mood and has the opposite effect when he is in a bad one. When he ignores someone, they feel ignored, but when someone has his attention, they feel like they're right at the center.

Likes: pranks, jokes, hanging out with his friends, getting to do whatever he wants to do
Dislikes: authority, being trapped, being helpless, Dark Magic, people particular about blood purity, Slytherins as a general rule, SEVERUS 'Snivellus' SNAPE

Fears: HE HAS NO FEARS! Alright, seriously. There is a good deal of fear in his resentment towards his parents, especially in younger years, though he'd never admit to it. He's afraid of losing the people he loves, a fear that grows more pronounced as time goes on and he actually does lose a lot of them.
Quirks: He tends to disregard other people's personal space, particularly when he likes them, without thinking much of it. This is enhanced when he's in a relationship with them, but even people he isn't physically attracted to are likely to get an arm around their shoulder ever so often. He also doesn't take things very serious, as a general rule, and makes jokes even about dark topics, which might partly be a defense mechanism where his own problems are concerned.

Prose: Sirius has a complex personality and over time he changes a lot, though in some ways he really just becomes more truly what he's always been.
He can be a bully and a jerk, even his friends being victims of jokes and pranks that go just a bit too far. Going just a bit too far is typical for him in general. Reckless and not always the most thoughtful, he doesn't often pause to seriously consider consequences.
There is a trend with his traits sometimes being so extreme that even a good thing can turn into a bad one. For example his bravery becoming said recklessness and in combination with his loyalty leading him to run to people's rescue without really thinking it through. Or the sense of humour of his that he also uses just a bit as a defense mechanism and leading to him saying and doing things he regrets later.
Sirius is intelligent and capable, with a good memory and excellent associative reasoning. He is a schemer, one doesn't become be famed for one's pranks without putting some effort in. He can be a bit lazy about studying, as he generally tends to avoid all things that he doesn't want to do. Experience has shown him time and time again that he manages just fine without studying. Furthermore he doesn't easily accept authority or take well to discipline, preferring to follow his own plans and motives and be on his own schedule, a free spirit.
All that talent and the awareness of being good-looking make for a rather over-blown ego, which he does treat in a humorous way, but which is nonetheless very much there.
But all shortcomings aside, he is essentially a good guy. Like any true Gryffindor, he has a chivalrous streak. He is brave, loyal and protective. Besides that, he is also capable of a lot of love, just like he can hate passionately. The people he loves, as much as they might have to suffer from his bad traits at times, mean the world to him and he'd do what it takes to keep them safe and make them happy.
It is no wonder that prison changed him, embittering him and enhancing some of his traits while diminishing others. More on that under history.

Sirius Black III was the firstborn son of Orion and Walburga Black. The Blacks are an influential, old, pure-blooded wizard family that take a lot of pride in that status. They look down on muggles, muggle-borns and half-bloods, as well as blood traitors and everyone else who doesn't live up to their standards. Orion's and Walburga's marriage was an arranged one, there was no love lost between them. Nevertheless, they had two sons, Sirius being the older one. Even when he was very young, Sirius hasn't exactly been the model son. Though scared enough of his parents - they were far from lenient with punishment - not to disobey them directly, he soon developed a penchant for pranks and more round-about ways of mouthing off to them, things they couldn't directly trace to him or that sounded polite though they weren't.

Sirius just loves annoying him, it reminds him of school days. That aside, he's still not sure what to make of this whole country business, but it does inspire something akin to respect and trust in him, in England's case.

Someone deeply prejudiced against magic, something Sirius can relate to - after all, he is severely biased against anything resembling dark magic. However, he tries to show Connor that not all magic is bad, sensing that perhaps the boy can use someone who looks out for him a bit.

Not exactly unbiased in his opinions of people, Sirius didn't care much for this Loki from the start and the more he gets to know him, the less he likes him. He feels that the god is not to be trusted, uses magic he'd definitely put in the 'dark' column and has greasy hair.

Once more, his bias shows. Dark-haired woman with definite tendencies to being a control freak, he can't help but be reminded of certain relations he'd rather not remember. The plant bondage didn't help.

Potions wasn't exactly Sirius' favorite subject. For one, Snivellus excelled at it and though he and James did manage to mess his potions up and make his cauldron explode every now and then, he still continued to do so. For another, Slughorn and his damn club had been after him for the sole reason that he was a Black and Sirius hated nothing more than to be reduced to his family name.

It didn't help that Lily Evans was in the club, which meant that at some point James had decided that he needed to get in as well, which meant that now it was only up to Sirius' efforts to get anything resembling fun out of Potions classes.

All in all, he really had every reason to be in a bad mood upon walking out of the class. However, today he was actually feeling...good. A bit strange, maybe, a bit elated... It certainly wasn't normal. But it felt good. It felt very good, even.

He was about to ask James whether he was just imagining that the dungeons seemed a bit brighter today when a blonde girl suddenly flung herself into his arms. He caught her, not too surprised, since Rebecca had developed the habit of picking him up from just about every class pretty much from the start of their relationship. It had something to do with wandering eyes and apparently the tactic had worked so far, as Sirius was now in his longest relationship. Not a hard record to beat, but still.

He wrapped her arms around her waist and kissed back when she kissed him, his hands finding their way under her robes with practiced speed and ease. However, he noticed he wasn't really into it, which was ridiculous since he was male, a teenager, perpetually horny and she was, well, she had breasts pressed against him. That was generally really all it took to keep him focused.

Now though, he didn't even close his eyes or start groping. He wasn't sure who he was looking for, but there was something nagging at the back of his mind...
