He can be your hero, baby.
Sirius didn't think much of this family, but there blood and standing was good enough that it'd have been a faux pas to refuse the invitation. The oldest son kept talking to him as if they were in any way equal and Sirius was fairly sure that it couldn't even be measured just how superior he was in everything, from standing to intellect. Luckily he had left him alone now that the girls were starting to be more drunk and less particular.
He wasn't really in the mood for any of that, either. Maybe he could leave the boring affair soon. For now he stepped out on the balcony for a cigarette, only sparing a glance at the couple standing against the wall.
"Come on, you were so friendly just before." Only out of the corners of his eyes did he see the girl swaying just a little bit and the boy all too readily steadying her with his hand touching her less than decently.
Such lack of class. With a role of his eyes he took a drag from his cigarette, figuring he would just tell them to get lost and go to a muggle party if they wanted to behave like animals.

Technically, the man, really. He'd left Hogwarts two years previously, but that hadn't apparently done anything to aid him in growing up.

"That's more like it." Quite the lustful whisper, that, and it made Sirius whip around, obviously annoyed.
"Do you mi-... Cassandra?!" Obvious disbelief on his face he took a step closer and that was quite enough to see the signs of what she'd been given in her eyes. His cigarette fell to the ground and he got his wand out a moment later, blasting the man to the side with his first blow and then continuing to slash and beat him, magically, until he was bruised and pleading and begging for mercy.
"I can kill him," he offered to Cassandra then, almost chillingly calm after that show of temper and as if the man's life meant nothing to him. Perhaps it was just a show.

Another hex and the man whimpered a thank you, only to be immobilized and silenced with the next two hexes. Sirius put his wand away and walked to Cassandra, gently pressing his palm against the side of her face as he tried to catch her eyes.
"For a moment I thought you had terrible taste."
