Warwick wiped the blood off with a disgusted look, stepping close to Sirius, who had been looking at Remus with concern and who was now glaring at him.

"We're going to play a game, Black. It's called 'I'll torture your friend until you break.' The good thing is that I don't have to hold back. I don't care if he breaks."

"I won't tell you."

"Oh, I think you will. And as a reward, I've been thinking about not killing you after you do. You figure out what we'll do instead."

Sirius jerked on his chains, but this time it was Remus who Warwick looked at while clutching Sirius's chin. "Pretty, isn't he? Talks too much though and never what he's supposed to say."

"Sod off. Compensate for your tiny prick somewhere else."

The knee to his stomach brought tears to Sirius's eyes and had him crumble. His ribs were already broken, he could barely breathe after the impact. It was enough time for Warwick to shove a nasty-tasting, dirty wad of balled up fabric into his mouth and tie it there.

Between almost suffocating and trying desperately to breathe through his nose and gagging on the foul taste, Sirius didn't manage to put up much of a fight against being gagged.

"Much better." Warwick turned to Remus. "That's how we'll keep him. Don't you think it's a marked improvement? Now. Torturing you, let's see."

He stepped closer to Remus and tapped his wand thoughtfully against his own lower lip.

"You tell me what you think we did to him so far. For every right one, nothing happens. For every wrong one, I hurt you. And if you say nothing, I'll use the torture curse on him. I can keep it up, too, since now he won't be giving me a headache with screaming."

Warwick smiled pleasantly, then he punched Remus square on the jaw. "And that's for spitting on me."
