"Wha-?" Sirius blinked at the statement that he didn't quite understand. Only today was the waste, right? had started today... Though there were feelings for his friend that went above and beyond friendship, he wasn't aware of them, never had been terribly introspective.

Besides, Remus was always there for all he needed, whether it was talking, listening or even cuddling. The girls never meant much to him, but they were enough to satisfy romantic and sexual urges and it was normal to do that with girls and not blokes. The possibility that he might be up for either hadn't yet occurred to Sirius.

Now though, he suddenly knew, he suddenly felt and it was for Remus, never even mind his gender. His friend and all he knew about him and suddenly there was love, undeniably love. Sirius closed the distance between them and kissed him gently, yet deeply.
